YOUTH EDUCATION AND SKILLS TRAINING

To focus on the development of quality education in science and technology at a young age.

We hire and artistically design our buildings and equip them in order to provide young people with ample facilities for developing their skills, and for play and recreation.   2. An apprenticeship program from 16 for young people to gain employability skills;
  3. Tools and opportunities to help those in the rural areas kickstart their careers;
  4. An E-School program starting from age of 5;
  5. An enterprise program for young people;
  6. Youth business development support project;
  7. Life skills development through extra curriculum activities;

Biodiversity conservation

NSEF project to empower communities to drive change and improve their environmental awareness.

Environmental Education is an important tool for fostering environmental awareness and promoting the sustainable use of natural resources, with lasting, long-term benefits to the living conditions of traditional communities.

The project “NSEF Marine for Implementation of Environmental Education and Income-generation Projects to Enhance Environmental Quality in Fishing Communities in Guinea-Bissau” was created to run socioeconomic diagnostics and projects in community-building, income-generation and environmental-quality improvement among fishing communities along the country’s coast.

The hope is that these projects will promote the conservation of coastal and marine biodiversity, the sustainable use of fisheries resources and more robust artisanal fishing practices.

The Environmental Education project is an environmental project established through an Agreement between NSEF and FEE for the Environmental schools, with the BioGuinea Foundation as Funder and NSEF as the implementer.
