NSEF PROJECT

INNOVATING IN EDUCATION

NSEF - Nenita Sa Engineering Foundation, this idea started in 2014, to create a professional engineering and technology educational institution of public interest for the African community development.

The NSEF was established in the UK in 2016 by Guinea-Bissau born João Conduto (MSc(Econ)) and Helder da Silva (PhD), and it is promoted mainly by Bissau-Guineans, with collaboration and support of partners worldwide.

The project is a global network, which has its headquarters in London, Lisbon, Accra and Bissau to help diversify its donor base and be able to better advocate with local agencies on behalf of the people we serve.

The NSEF works in the UK mainly as a needs-driven project for African community.

As a not-for-profit organisation, our goal in the UK is to improve well-being by researching and creating ideas for businesses that have social and environmental objectives.

We provide technical solutions, environmental education, and training skills that mainly empower the African community, aiming especially to help children and women in the poor communities to improve their living standards.

We help African community in the UK to engage, up-skill and develop opportunities back home.

  • Engineering and technology incubation;
  • Energy production;
  • Food production and;
  • Youth and female agribusiness.

The Foundation's Programs are named Active for civic engagement, Maria da Conceiҫão Té institute for education, Woman House for female empowerment, and the African Community Hub for education, enterprise, community development and engagement.
