And jointly funding and supporting research, training and other activities mainly in the universities in the UK and Guinea-Bissau, in order to find the best possible solutions that can bring positive change to the lives of Bissau Guineans mainly in the countryside. Research and development (R&D) work
Partnership, engineering technology and a passion for creativity are used in our R&D work to contribute to the education and development of deprived rural communities in Guinea-Bissau. Through our projects, we provide effective solutions for education and the community development and we will analyse, optimise and test them before their implementation in order to help to contribute towards the prosperity of Bissau-Guinean society. Our main research contribution to the NSEF project in Guinea-Bissau is in the following industries:
- Electronics and Electrical - Power electronics, electric machines and motion control;
- Renewable Energy - Systems with solar panels and wind turbine generators;
- Building Industry - Architecture and Civil Engineering;
- Marine, Fishing and Agriculture - Developing tools and techniques;
- Manufacturing Industry - Improving current processes and developing new ones.
