The Skills Network Fully Funded Courses for NSEF

This year, Blue Monday falls on Monday 21st January 2019.

It’s been awarded its gloomy title due to a combination of post-Christmas blues, cold nights and dark days – all amid financial worries following the festive season. A recent study of 2,000 people, found that 95% are at their unhappiest during this time of year.* With 28% having reported having a mental health condition, of that 69 % have depression, 59% have anxiety, 9% suffer from an eating disorder, and 10% have emotional and behavioural difficulties*, so it has become more important than ever for us to raise awareness and understanding of mental health.

Available at no cost to you, your volunteers, your family and friends, and your organisation**, the courses below will develop your knowledge and understanding of mental health with both adults and children, how to work and engage with them and the legislation and guidance surrounding mental health.

  • Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems

These courses will give you and your staff the tools, knowledge and confidence to engage with vulnerable adults and children, in a sensitive and professional way.
