Thank you for taking the time and interest to view the NSEF website. We hope your next step will be to contact us in UK, Portugal ou Guinea-Bissau in order to may find a way to learn more about NSEF and support our social innovative project for Guinea-Bissau. If you are a Bissau Guinean, you probably know that educational system of the country is poor and our project supports to allow for quality education and training accessible to 1000s of people.
The Nenita Sá Engineering Foundation (NSEF) was established in 2014 by Bissau Guinea born Helder da Silva (BEng, PhD, MIET, IEEE) and it is promoted mainly by Bissau Guineans, with collaboration and support of partners worldwide. The Think Tank works in the UK mainly as a needs-driven project for Bissau Guinean society. As a social enterprise project, our goal in the UK is to improve wellbeing by researching and creating ideas for business that have social objectives in Guinea-Bissau. We provide technical solutions; education; and training skills that mainly empower women and young people, aiming especially to help the rural poor to engineer their way out of poverty. We help Bissau Guinean descendants in the UK to up-skill and look for opportunities in Guinea-Bissau.
All the profits generated by our initiatives are re-invested to further improve and increase our services for community empowerment.Quality education is at the heart of our project, and there is nothing more rewarding to us than developing future engineers that can deliver tangible results to the Bissau Guinean's economy and society.
Committed to excellence and high impact, we support efforts to enhance education, and to organise and support the development of communities, up-skilling local people and to help to improve the understanding of people going to business in the local communities. We will help to develop a good educational environment and to inspire future generations of Bissau Guineans.
