YOUTH EDUCATION AND SKILLS TRAINING

We hire and artistically design our buildings and equip them in order to provide young people with ample facilities for developing their skills, and for play and recreation. We look to hire professionally competent, devoted and dedicated teachers for our schools and instructors for our training courses.

Therefore in this NSEF project, we aim to support education and skills training young people by providing the following:

  • quality facilities, materials and environment for learning;
  • an apprenticeship programme from 16 for young people to gain employability skills;
  • tools and opportunities to help those in the rural areas kickstart their careers;
  • an Eco-School programme starting from age of 5;
  • an enterprise programme for young people;
  • youth business development support project;
  • life skills development through extra curriculum activities;
  • work in partnership with the government in Guinea-Bissau to help in the maintenance and building of Public schools outside capital-city Bissau;
  • development of activities aiming to contribute to the depth of the national educational integration and to work with initiatives to help to develop the skills they need.
